Being an avid ‘No Reservations’ watcher, Anthony Bourdain would enjoy a more casual atmosphere. Therefore he should visit Tim Love’s The Woodshed OR eat Nonna Tatta @ The Usual (and enjoy two experiences in one).
I LOVE Anthony Bourdian but can’t afford to buy tickets to the show! I would love the opportunity to go to the show with my husband! 😉
Saint Emilion on W 7th. Gotta go French, and may as well go with the best.
You have to go with good ol’ fashioned southern cooking: Babe’s Chicken Dinner House.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle
Cowtown Food park!
If you watch his show at all, you will see him at both the no frills AND the fancy places, but he sure does seem to enjoy no frills best. And if he can get a drink there as well, all the better! Brewed has a casual environment with high end, orgasmic food that makes you think you should be wearing your fancy getup. AND they have superb beer.
Joe T’s
Sammie’s BBQ
Del Frisco’s
Fred’s Texas Cafe!!
Shinjuku Station!
Fireside Pies Fort Worth is the winner.
El Taquito in White Settlement, best breakfast burritos in Fort Worth!
Tough call, but I think I’ll go with Reatta. Plenty of great eateries in “The Fort”, but you can’t beat that view from the rooftop bar!
Angelo’s BBQ This is a no brainer.. it is everything you need to know about Fort worth in one restaurant.. 2nd choice Joe T’s
The Vine Greek Tavern~ family owned and YUMMY!

Bonnells is the most Bourdain worthy restaurant!
St Emilion is the best!
Ellerbe’s
It’s hard to pick just one because there really are 4 or 5 different restaurants that would demonstrate the diversity, the eclecticism and the clash of Fort Worth’s old and new. Anthony wouldn’t just come to Fort Worth and eat at one place.
But…since he would only have time to go to one restaurant right before the show, I would say ELLERBE FINE FOODS.
I’d love to say gogo gumbo! in Boyd, TX but you probably don’t consider that Fort Worth … but Bourdain would really dig it. Really.
Ellerbe Fine Foods

Tim Love’s Lonesome Dove!!!!!
This is actually a hard choice because there are so many great spots to eat downtown. All time favorite though and keeping true to the Texas way, go for steak. My favorite spot is the Chop house on Main. Great food and a nice walk from Bass Hall.
