What a fantastic and inspiring week! Hundreds of local students recently poured into Bass Performance Hall for our annual Children’s Education Program Summer Camps.
More than 200 middle schoolers participated in our Choral Camp, in which students sharpened their skills with week-long training exercises that culminated with a performance on the Bass Hall stage.
Meanwhile, more than 200 local high school students participated in band master classes honing their instrumental skills alongside professional musicians.
Other campers learned the ins and outs of the technical world, working backstage with local stagehands and members of the Bass Hall Production department.
All of these camps are made possible by our Children’s Education Program and are offered to students free of charge. Special thanks to all of our donors and those who volunteered their time and expertise!
