Love the arts? Love helping kids? Join our brand-new YOUNG PATRONS CLUB!

Performing Arts Fort Worth is proud to introduce the Young Patrons Club, a social group for young professionals like no other. In addition to exclusive amenities, members will also help make a difference in the lives of local students.

Membership amenities include discounted ticket offers to select shows presented at Bass Performance Hall and McDavid Studio by Performing Arts Fort Worth (PAFW); access to members-only special events; pre-show cocktail receptions; and exclusive pre-sale ticket offers.

One hundred percent of an annual YPC membership fee goes to providing tickets to local students to select PAFW performances at Bass Performance Hall.

Membership is open to people between the ages of 21 and 40 from all industries.

Elaine Agather, Chairman of the Board for Performing Arts Fort Worth, spearheaded the YPC initiative.

“From the beginning of my tenure as Board Chair, I have been passionate about engaging the next generation in supporting this beautiful Hall,” she says. “We want this generation to see and appreciate our facilities and provide feedback about the kind of entertainment in which they might be interested.”

To gauge interest in the social group, Performing Arts Fort Worth has hosted a handful of test-run YPC events at Bass Hall and McDavid Studio.

“The response was overwhelming,” says Dione Kennedy, President & CEO of Performing Arts Fort Worth. “The people who attended were very excited to be here, to be a part of what we’re doing and to potentially have input into our future plans.”

Each membership fee will go toward providing tickets to local students for future Performing Arts Fort Worth shows at Bass Hall.

“It was important to us to turn this into more than a social club,” Kennedy says. “We wanted there to be an educational component to this as well. That way, members will know their membership fees are going to good use.”

Memberships cost $50 per person or $90 a couple. To purchase, please call the Bass Hall box office at 817-212-4280 or click here.

  1. I would like to see this kind of thing for older adults; 40+ also. I am older than 40, I am a professional actress and I teach acting and dance to children of all ages. I was ready to join until I saw the age limit. Thank you.

    1. Hey Tracie, you’re more than welcome to join the club. We don’t exclude anyone based on age. Members just need to be at least 21 because some of our events will include free adult beverages. The 21 to 40 age range we mentioned in the post is not an actual rule. We’d love to have you. 🙂
