MATILDA THE MUSICAL is here (and so are a bunch of fun activities)

The acclaimed national tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL has arrived at Bass Hall and with it comes a flurry of fun lobby activities and magical promotions! Check out everything that’s going on!

Before or after the show, visit Red Mango in Sundance Square, located just across the street from Bass Hall, and you’ll get a build-your-own frozen yogurt for just a buck! You gotta show ’em your Matilda ticket!

Tell us what you want to be when you grow up!

Look for the “When I Grow Up” board in the main lobby. It looks like a chalkboard. There, kids of all ages (that means you, too, adults) are encouraged to tell us – via sticky-note – what they want to be when they grow up. Be sure to take a pic and use the hashtag #MatildaBassHall!

Next to the chalkboard you’ll find lyrics to all the songs featured in the show. Grab a lyric sheet so you can sing along, like our very own Kaylee Wise.

Snap a pic in front of our big Matilda banner! Be sure to use the hashtag #MatildaBassHall. We’ll post our fave pics later on this week!

Since Matilda is all about a voracious reader, the Fort Worth Library is on-site during each performance to sign up people for brand-new library cards. You can find them near the entrance to the east lobby.

Speaking of books, bring any book to Bass Hall to donate to the Fort Worth ISD’s After School Program. You can find the donation boxes in the lobby, near the east and west entrances.

Matilda The Musical runs through Sunday. Tickets are still available!

Bring a book to Bass Hall this week to donate to the Fort Worth Library’s After School Program!
