There’s a whole lotta ravin’ going on!

Punch Shaw of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram says the cast does an “excellent job” of recreating the sounds of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. He calls Ben Goddard, who plays rambunctious Jerry Lee, “the real scene stealer.”

Under the headline, “Go, Cats, Go!,” Theater Jones critic Jan Farrington called the guys, “a tight bunch of live performers with a feel for the sound and soul of this music.”

Goodness, gracious, says The Edge’s Doug Dodasovich, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is a “great ball of musical fire.”

The Column theater critic LK Fletcher loved the a capella numbers, describing them as “stunning”.

The cast also performed live on Fox’s Good Day morning show on Wednesday and on KTXD’s D Living on Thursday. And did you catch their free standing-room-only outdoor show Wednesday afternoon at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium? Here’s a clip of ’em ripping up See Ya Later, Alligator.
